Children's Fun Place
The Children's Fun place is a special aspect of the Festival of Music. Our
Children's area is located in and around the picnic pavillion. There will
be live demonstrations that children, and Mom's and Dad's - grandparents
too can have fun watching and learning.
What kid doesn't love a festival? (That goes for grown-up kids too!)
The performances at and surrounding the children's fun place are specifically
designed for audience participation. It includes a variety of activities,
including story telling, face painting, puppet shows, crafts, singing and
dancing.
Applications for Children's Entertainers are now being accepted to
perform and entertain in the Children's area. These are found on the
application page. We are looking for musicians, magicians, dancers,
clowns, story tellers. Due to being a small event, we are asking that
anyone who is interested in being a part of the children's area to be a
volunteer. Deadline for application is May 15, 2012.
