Book of Remembrance

 In 2004 with the generous support of the Trillium Foundation, we were able to publish our local book of Remembrance written by Gow Harvey. The Book includes a brief history of all who served in Canada's wartime military from Plattsville, Bright, Washington and surrounding areas. The book is available for $35 a copy, taxes included. Once Upon a Time in Washington

In 2006, we once again applied for Trillium funding to publish our second book written by Jenny Harvey.  Comprised of two parts, the first being a history of Washington starting in the 1800s to present day and the second being a historical research on the homes in the community

Cemetery Project

Proceeds from the 150th Celebrations provided the funds for signage for the Plattsville Cemetery.  In 2005, the County of Oxford installed the directional signage and Doug & Adam Murray installed the large sign at the cemetery. The signs were designed and built by Teen Graphics
