Tuesday September 27, 2011 - How to Grow and Show Gladiolus - Jim Mabee – Tillsonburg.
Jim is a Master Gardener and will speak on techniques for growing glads and will demonstrate some tricks for making a great show when putting them on display.

Tuesday October 25 - Ingersoll’s Good Food Box – Linda Dimock- co-ordinator of the Good Food Box.
Linda will introduce us to the new Ingersoll program that brings locally grown produce to town every month. Join us for 2nd annual Local Fall Products Contest – Judges from Olde Bakery Cafι will judge entries of vegetable dishes, baked goods, pickles or preserves. Entrants will make something with ingredients from your own garden or local farmers market. Please include recipe and extras for sharing so everyone can try it during break. Bring them in between 7:00 and 7:15pm on the day of the meeting. Preserves – Most unique or different preserve. Judging based on texture, taste and overall appearance. Baking – Judging will be based on texture, taste and overall appearance We also welcome Passport to the Arts supporters – we will be more than happy to stamp your Passport!)

Tuesday November 22 - Christmas Pot Luck Supper – 6 pm SHARP
Come and bring a friend. If you can’t make the supper then come at 7:00 and leave with a seasonal craft for your home or garden.

Tuesday January 24 2012 - Weeds 101 – Richard Poortinga
Richard will provide a power point presentation that aims to help us identify, understand and hopefully control weeds.

Tuesday February 28 – Hostas – Lynn Bishop – Shades of Green, Aylmer.
Lynn has specialized in growing hostas but has found room for other perennials (daylilies, heucheras and ornamental grasses) at her garden centre. Her gardens were enjoyed by last years Road Trip participants.

Tuesday March 27 – The Good, the Bad and the Ugly Bugs – Ron Rossini – London.
Ron will talk about beneficial and harmful insects and how to attract the good and eliminate the bad. He will also focus on what plant environment is necessary to attract the beneficial insects.

Tuesday April 24 – ROAD TRIP _ Courtland Gardens
The staff at Courtland Gardens will give us a look at the new cultivars and products being offered this season. They will provide tips on how to keep our gardens at their best throughout the season. Premiums will be available on site for members.

Saturday May 26, 2012 – PLANT SALE at Sherbrooke Barn
-(Ingersoll Museum – Plank Line entrance) 8:30 am – 12 noon .Expect even more at this years sale. Volunteers will help prepare and sell a variety of plants, shrubs, trees and garden ornaments. Penny Sale offers a chance for some really fantastic deals! Bacon on a bun, coffee and muffins will be available to help build your energy levels for a great day of gardening! Items have been donated by local gardeners and merchants. Plant Tables will be individually priced from $1.00 and up. Lots of variety so come early. Individuals who wish to promote their garden product through donations are more than welcome.Donations of plants and any other items always appreciated - Please make sure they are well-marked and plants are non-invasive.

Sunday June 24 – Garden Party –
featuring the Margaret St rose garden of Julie Barks. Light lunch and an afternoon of musical entertainment with Jim Gonder will be available as well as a sale of garden art and supplies.
