CAP (Community Access Program) is a program of Industry Canada. CAP works with rural
Canadian communities to take advantage of new communication
technologies. CAP's goal is to foster economic, social, and cultural
growth in Canada.
Each year since 1995, Oxford County Library has received CAP funding from Industry Canada. This funding supports the employment of youth workers within the Library who deliver training and support to community members new to the Internet. This funding also supports the maintenance and delivery of computer services within the Library including free high-speed internet access
